This program takes your pictures (jpg or bitmap) and turns it into a 3D file for cutting on the machine. It gives options for both the .stl file you can manipulate in a 3D program like Solidworks, Fusion or Aspire, or go directly to a cut file (.tap, .nc, etc) with options for bit sizes, feed rates, spindle speeds and letting you directly size the cut file.
This is also great for doing lithophanes with a CNC machine.
You can invert the file to choose if dark colors are high points or low and whether you want a flat bottom underneath to close the shape for 3D printing.
Requires Windows 7 or 10 and recommended 8 GB+ of RAM. After purchase you will be given a download link. An activation code will be e-mailed within 24 hours, but usually within 2 hours.
